Nothing leaves your phone.

That is the whole policy. The rest of this page just says it slowly.

What Kept collects

Nothing. Kept has no accounts, no sign-up, no servers, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. What you log — bleeding, symptoms, moods, notes — is written to a file in the app's own private storage on your device, and it stays there.

What Kept sends anywhere

Nothing. The app makes no network requests. Everything it shows you — every pattern, forecast and count — is computed on your device, from your own record.

Backups

The only copies of your record are the ones you make yourself, with the export buttons in Settings. They are ordinary files, saved where you choose, and they are yours. Kept opts out of Android's automatic cloud backup, so your record does not ride along into any cloud backup without your say-so.

Notifications and widgets

Notifications are scheduled locally on your device — no push service is involved. Their default voice is discreet on purpose, and the home-screen widgets show only abstract marks: no dates, no words, no predictions.

The app lock

If you turn on the app lock, your device's own fingerprint, face or screen-lock check is used. Kept never sees or stores biometric data — the operating system only tells it "she passed".

Deleting your data

Settings → Delete everything. Kept asks twice, then forgets completely. Because Kept keeps no copies, there is nothing to delete anywhere else — and no one you need to ask.

Children

Kept is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone, of any age.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Kept ever changes any of the above, this page will say so before that version ships, plainly and at the top.
